The head office is located in central Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with an infrastructure of approximately 1,500 sq. ft., providing a base for on-site engineering and project coordination. Role Description The Solar Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for planning, designing, and executing solar power projects. This role includes performing technical assessments, preparing PV and electrical designs, and supporting feasibility studies for rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations. The engineer will coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely project execution, quality control, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.



Day-to-day tasks involve reviewing drawings and specifications, conducting site visits, preparing technical documentation, and assisting with commissioning and performance testing of solar systems. The Solar Project Engineer will also contribute to cost estimation, project scheduling, and continuous improvement of engineering processes.
Qualifications

- Solid knowledge of the solar industry and solar power applications, with practical experience in solar systems.
- Proficiency in PV design and electrical design for solar projects, including layout, sizing, and wiring diagrams.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, standards, and codes relevant to solar installations and electrical systems.
- Experience with design and simulation tools (e.g., PV*Sol, PVsyst, AutoCAD, or similar software) is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills, with attention to safety and quality.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and on-site contractors.
- Willingness to work on-site in Ahmedabad and conduct regular field visits as required by project needs.
