Position: SAP EWM Consultant

Experience Required: 7+ years

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

- Core Expertise: Minimum 7+ years of experience in SAP EWM, with proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA.
- Project Experience: Hands-on involvement in 2–4 end-to-end SAP EWM implementation projects, covering all phases from blueprinting to go-live and post-go-live support.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of warehouse management processes (e.g., inbound/outbound logistics, inventory management, putaway, picking, packing) and end-to-end supply chain operations.
- Technical Proficiency: Solid grasp of SAP HANA architecture, performance tuning, and database considerations for EWM.
- System Architecture: Experience with both Embedded EWM (integrated in S/4HANA) and Decentralized EWM (standalone system).
- Module Integration: Demonstrated experience integrating EWM with core SAP modules: MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), PP (Production Planning), TM (Transportation Management), and QM (Quality Management).
- Warehouse Automation: Experience implementing and supporting integration with RF devices,



barcode scanners, and warehouse automation systems (e.g., conveyors, AS/RS).
- Configuration & Master Data: Robust hands-on skills in master data configuration (e.g., storage types, stock categories, activity areas) and Warehouse Monitor (custom UI development or configuration).
- UI & Modern Tools: Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications for EWM and user experience enhancements.
- Technical Skills: Ability to perform ABAP debugging, and experience in reviewing/creating technical specifications and integration documentation.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication (verbal & written), and effective stakeholder management across business and IT teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certification in SAP EWM or SAP S/4HANA (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience leading technical workstreams or mentoring junior consultants.
- Exposure to cloud-based EWM deployments (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public or Private).
- Knowledge of SAP Extended Warehouse Management 9.x or 10.x upgrades or migrations.
