Position: Field Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Field Officer to conduct on-ground data collection, farmer engagement, and field-level assessments in the Wardha region. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact on the ground, ensuring high accuracy in sustainability data collection, supporting local implementation, and helping farmers adopt sustainable agricultural practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Collection & Audit Readiness: Execute on-site assessments and gather high-quality sustainability data adhering to internal compliance and client audit standards.
2. Farmer & Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong, trust-based relationships with local farmers and project participants to drive continuous engagement and participation.
3. On-Ground Guidance: Act as the first line of support for local stakeholders by addressing queries, resolving field-level issues, and providing immediate guidance on project guidelines.
4. Risk & Barrier Identification: Monitor local field conditions, identify potential implementation bottlenecks or agricultural risks,



and report findings to the project management team.
5. Process Improvement: Provide practical, local-level insights and feedback to help refine field operations and risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Practical background in agricultural extension, rural development, field research, or agricultural audits.
2. Strong understanding of sustainability principles and sustainable farming practices.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in local languages to effectively engage with farming communities.
4. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced field environment.
5. High attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and compliance standards.
