Experience Required

8+ Years of relevant experience in Oracle Database Administration, Performance Tuning, SQL/PLSQL Development, and Oracle GoldenGate.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Database Performance Tuning

- Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize complex SQL queries to improve database performance.
- Perform advanced SQL and PL/SQL code reviews and tuning activities.
- Identify and resolve database bottlenecks, locking issues, deadlocks, and performance degradation.
- Monitor database performance using Oracle tools such as AWR, ASH, ADDM, and execution plans.

Production Support & Troubleshooting

- Provide production support for database-related incidents and critical issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
- Participate in on-call support and major incident resolution activities.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure service stability.

SQL & PL/SQL Development

- Design, develop, test, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and views.
- Develop scalable and efficient PL/SQL solutions adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Support database design, data modeling, and schema optimization initiatives.

Oracle GoldenGate Administration & Support

- Design, configure, implement, and support Oracle GoldenGate replication solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot replication processes, latency issues,



and data synchronization challenges.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across source and target environments.
- Support GoldenGate upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization activities.

Required Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Oracle SQL Performance Tuning and Query Optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate implementation and support.
- Solid experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Exadata and cloud environments.
- Experience troubleshooting complex database and application performance issues.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in production support and critical incident environments.

Preferred Skills

- Oracle Exadata Administration.
- Cloud database platforms (OCI/AWS/Azure).
- Data replication and high-availability solutions.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise databases.
