### About POSTLAB STUDIOS

POSTLAB STUDIOS is a professional video post-production studio specializing primarily in **wedding films, cinematic wedding highlights, teasers, and creative video content**, along with short films and other post-production projects.

We work with photographers, wedding filmmakers, and creative teams, including **Stories by Sharon Shyam, Athreya Wedding, Wedlock Stories, Valo Photography**, and others.

### ROLE

We are looking for a **creative and passionate Wedding Video Editor** who can transform raw wedding footage into engaging, emotional, and cinematic wedding films.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of **storytelling, music, pacing, emotion, and visual aesthetics**, with an eye for detail and consistency.

### KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Edit **cinematic wedding highlights and wedding films** from raw footage.

* Create engaging **wedding teasers, trailers, reels, and social-media edits**.

* Organize and manage large volumes of wedding footage efficiently.

* Select the best shots based on storytelling, emotion, composition, and continuity.

* Sync and edit **multi-camera footage**.

* Work with music, sound effects, dialogue, and natural audio to create an emotional flow.

* Perform basic **color correction and color grading**.

* Maintain consistency in color, exposure, skin tones, and overall visual style.

* Create smooth and creative transitions without compromising storytelling.

* Coordinate with the studio team and follow project-specific editing requirements.

* Make revisions based on client or team feedback.

* Deliver projects within agreed deadlines.

* Maintain proper project organization, file management, and backups.

### REQUIRED SKILLS

* Robust knowledge of **Adobe Premiere Pro**.





* Good understanding of **After Effects** is an advantage.

* Knowledge of **DaVinci Resolve** is an added advantage.

* Strong sense of **storytelling and cinematic editing**.

* Good understanding of music selection, rhythm, and beat-based editing.

* Ability to work with **4K footage and multi-camera projects**.

* Positive understanding of wedding cinematography and different camera formats.

* Basic knowledge of color correction and grading.

* Attention to detail and consistency.

* Ability to work under deadlines without compromising quality.

### EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in **wedding video editing** is preferred.

Candidates with experience in **cinematic wedding films, short films, documentaries, music videos, or other narrative editing** are also welcome to apply.
