About:

We are looking for an experienced Thought Machine Vault Developer with solid Python skills and hands-on experience developing and supporting Smart Contracts on Thought Machine Vault Core.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain and enhance Vault Smart Contracts using Python.
- Work with Vault hooks, parameters, postings, balances, schedules and account lifecycle events.
- Implement and support financial behaviours such as repayments, fees, payment schedules, arrears, reversals and account adjustments.
- Develop and maintain unit and Vault simulation tests.
- Troubleshoot Smart Contract, configuration and production issues.
- Support releases, deployments and production incidents.
- Work with QA and integration teams to validate financial transactions and end-to-end behaviour.

Must Have





- Strong Python development experience.
- Hands-on Thought Machine Vault Core experience.
- Proven experience developing or maintaining Vault Smart Contracts.
- Good understanding of hooks, postings, parameters, balances and scheduled events.
- Experience with Vault unit/simulation testing.
- Good understanding of financial transactions and ledger concepts.
- Git and CI/CD experience.

Good to Have

- Experience in banking, lending or premium finance.
- REST APIs and Kafka/event-driven systems.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting Vault in production.
