Job Summary

Amity University Jharkhand is seeking a dedicated and academically qualified Assistant Professor of English to join its faculty. The candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, student mentoring, and contributing to the academic development of the department.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver lectures and conduct classes in English literature, language, and communication.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and assessments.
- Mentor students and support their academic and professional development.
- Conduct research and publish papers in reputed journals.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, and departmental activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic planning.
- Support institutional committees and other academic responsibilities.

Eligibility & Qualifications
- Ph.D.



in English or a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Master’s degree in English with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent.
- NET qualification as applicable under UGC regulations.
- Strong academic record and positive communication skills.
- Candidates with relevant teaching, research, and industry experience will be preferred.
