Role Name: Dy. Manager Contracts, Claims & Arbitration

Strategic Business Unit: All verticals (HO)

Objective: Ensuring contract compliances, mitigating risks and resolving disputes to protect the

Company’s interests.

Key Accountability
Handle contractual (pre-tendering & post tendering) matters and guide contractual adherence & liability to Business/ operation Teams.
Preparation of Contract Appreciation Document (CAD) and GIST
Interpretation of contractual clauses.
Preparation of regular correspondences, EOT’s & Delay analysis
Contractual Risk Assessment & provide input to Head-Contracts /Business & Operations Team.
Handle claims, contractual dispute management & resolution
Coordinate with Cross functional teams, Business & Operations Staff for matters related to contacts management, claims, disputes & arbitration.
Create awareness about contractual conditions among the site management, business heads, and other internal

Stakeholders.




Provide inputs/support to leadership in the matters of contracts management & in Disputes/Arbitration.
External stake holder’s meetings on all or any contractual related matters

Competencies: Contract law principles, Dispute resolution mechanisms, and Compliance. Contract drafting, Delay Analysis, contractual correspondence, Negotiation, Claims assessment, and resolution.

FIDIC & Indian Contracts, Legal research tools, and financial analysis.

Qualification and Experience:
B.E/B. Tech Civil Engineering, preferable – NICMAR & LLB is desirable.
Minimum 8 -10 yrs. of experience in Contracts Management and handling disputes / Arbitrations,
should have excellent communication skills and experience in MS Office.
Experience in working with large Infrastructure / EPC

Companies would be preferable.
