Role Description The Finance Manager is a full time, on-site role based at Zone by The Park in Chennai. This role is responsible for overseeing the hotel’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting. Key day-to-day tasks include monitoring revenue and expenses, preparing management reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and local regulations, and coordinating audits.

The Finance

Manager will work closely with the General Manager and department heads to analyze financial performance, support strategic decisions, and optimize profitability.



The role also involves managing finance team members, maintaining internal controls, and implementing process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance relevant to the hospitality sector.

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems or hotel finance software and advanced skills in spreadsheet and data analysis tools.

- Ability to lead and develop a finance team, collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, and communicate complex financial information clearly.

- Demonstrated skills in internal controls, risk management, and audit coordination.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA, CMA, ACCA, or MBA in Finance are advantageous.

- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality finance management in Chennai or similar markets is a strong plus.

- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and capability to work in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
