Role Overview
We are looking for a Stores Executive with 4–6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment to manage day-to-day stores and inventory operations. The candidate will be responsible for material receiving, storage, inventory control, material issue, documentation, and coordination with production, purchase, and other departments.

- Responsibilites
- Manage day-to-day stores and warehouse operations in a manufacturing plant.
- Receive incoming raw materials, components, consumables, and other materials.
- Verify materials against Purchase Orders, invoices, delivery challans, and inspection documents.
- Prepare and maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and other material receipt records.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, stacking, and storage of materials.
- Issue materials to production and other departments against authorized material requisitions.
- Maintain accurate stock records, bin cards, and inventory registers.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Purchase/Planning teams for replenishment.
- Conduct physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation for inward, outward, transfer, return, and scrap materials.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe material handling within the stores area.
- Coordinate with Quality, Purchase, Production, Finance, and Maintenance departments for material-related activities.
- Track and report shortages, excess stock, damages, and non-moving/slow-moving inventory.
- Support periodic and annual stock audits.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety requirements, and inventory control systems.
- Prepare regular reports related to stock, material movement, consumption, and inventory status.
Experience &
- Qualification
- Any Graduate/Diploma qualification; candidates with Supply Chain, Logistics, or Materials Management background are preferred.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in Stores/Warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing company.
- Good knowledge of inventory management and material handling processes.
- Experience in ERP/SAP/Tally or other inventory management software is preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and inventory records.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Robust attention to detail and ability to work in a plant environment.
- Knowledge of 5S, FIFO, stock reconciliation, and warehouse safety will be an added advantage.
