Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, test, and maintain embedded firmware for IoT products and connected devices.
- Develop firmware applications using ESP32, STM32, or other microcontrollers.
- Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable Embedded C/C code.
- Interface microcontrollers with sensors and peripheral devices.
- Work with embedded interfaces and protocols including UART, SPI, I²C, GPIO, PWM, ADC and RS485/Modbus.
- Implement sensor data acquisition, processing, validation, error handling, and diagnostics.
- Develop and debug Wi-Fi and GSM/LTE-based IoT communication.
- Implement device communication with gateways and cloud/server APIs using MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS and related protocols.
- Work on firmware features including OTA/FOTA updates, watchdog, RTC, configuration management and device diagnostics.
- Analyze existing firmware and implement enhancements, fixes, and performance improvements.
- Debug firmware and hardware-related issues using serial logs, debugging tools, and test equipment.
- Support sensor calibration, validation, reliability testing, and troubleshooting of field issues.
- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and product-level firmware validation.
- Work closely with Hardware, QA/Testing, Software, Production, and Service teams during product development and deployment.
- Support hardware-firmware integration, PCB bring-up, and troubleshooting where required.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation covering firmware, interfaces, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Support investigation of recurring field failures and contribute to root-cause analysis and corrective actions. The existing KRA specifically emphasizes closing the loop on field failures and feeding corrective changes into subsequent product revisions.
Required Technical Skills
Embedded Programming
- Solid knowledge of Embedded C/C .
- Good understanding of:

Microcontrollers & Firmware
- Hands-on experience with ESP32, STM32, or similar microcontrollers.
- Experience with ESP-IDF, Arduino, PlatformIO, or similar frameworks/tools.
- Understanding of firmware development, debugging, and version control.
- Experience with Git.
Sensors & Hardware Interfaces
- Experience integrating sensors and peripheral devices.
- Knowledge of UART, SPI, I²C, GPIO, PWM, ADC, RS485 and Modbus.
- Ability to read basic circuit diagrams and understand hardware interfaces.
- Understanding of sensor data acquisition, parsing, validation, and error handling.
IoT Communication
- Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi and/or GSM/LTE communication.
- Understanding of MQTT, HTTP and HTTPS.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP and REST APIs.
- Exposure to device-to-gateway and device-to-cloud communication.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
Education
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
