About the Role

Location: Pune/Bangalore/Chennai Data Engineer: Experience: 7 - 11 years (but need expert Engineers)- Databricks Certification mandatory: Strong hands-on Databricks experience is mandatory, with expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale data engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

- Solid hands-on Databricks experience is mandatory, with expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale data engineering solutions.
- Strong experience in Databricks architecture, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows/Jobs, performance optimisation, and data governance.
- Ability to assess existing implementations and proactively propose Databricks-based solutions, improvements, accelerators, and best practices.
- Provide technical recommendations around Databricks architecture, performance, scalability, cost optimisation, security, and governance.
- Ability to perform technical design and solution discussions with customer architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
- Expected to demonstrate technical thought leadership, challenge existing approaches where required,



and recommend better solutions rather than only implementing provided requirements.
- Experience working directly with customers and senior stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure delivery environment, managing priorities while maintaining engineering quality.

Qualifications

- Experience: 7 - 11 years (but need expert Engineers).
- Databricks certification is mandatory.
- Advanced Databricks certifications and relevant Cloud certifications would be an added advantage.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on Databricks experience.
- Strong experience in Databricks architecture, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows/Jobs, performance optimisation, and data governance.
- Strong understanding of Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT concepts, SQL, databases, and data modelling.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Advanced Databricks certifications.
- Relevant Cloud certifications.
