Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in RDBMS Design & development (SQL Server/ Oracle/ PostgreSQL)

Must-Have Skills
- Deep understanding of database design principles, normalization/denormalization, and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with large datasets, high-concurrency systems, and production environments.
- Solid knowledge of database security, backup, replication, and high availability setups.
- Proven experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
- Ability to manage and process large datasets in production environments.
- Expertise in complex Stored Procedures, , Dynamic SQL, Views, Functions, Triggers
- Experience in leading a database team, assigning tasks, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring project timelines.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable RDBMS solutions.
- Manage and mentor a team of 2–5 database developers/analysts, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
- Own end-to-end project execution: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.




- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and application developers to translate business needs into efficient database designs.
- Drive SQL development (stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, CTEs) with best practices and standards. • Ensure database performance, scalability, and reliability through indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
- Implement and oversee database DevOps (CI/CD), version control, and release management processes.
- Manage data integrity, security, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct capacity planning, backup/recovery strategy, and disaster recovery setup.
- Provide technical leadership in adopting modern practices such as cloud RDBMS, data orchestration (Airflow, dbt), and integration with AI/ML pipelines.

Valuable-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to LLM-driven architecture and GenAI product integration
- Hands-on with Vector DBs (e.g., Vespa, Qdrant, FAISS) or Graph DBs (e.g., Neo4j)
- Experience working with LangChain, RAG pipelines, or embedding-based search systems
