Hexacorp is seeking an experienced Senior Medical Coder to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will bring robust expertise in medical coding standards, clinical documentation interpretation, and team management. This role requires immediate availability and offers the chance to contribute to coding operations across diverse markets.
Eligibility Criteria
Medical or related educational background
Relevant coding certification with proven experience
Expert-level knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
Demonstrated sound judgment and practical problem-solving skills
Ability to think creatively and adapt to complex scenarios
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (filters, VLOOKUP, etc.)
Familiarity with CMS and payer-specific guidelines
Proven ability to interpret complex clinical documentation
People management skills and client engagement experience
Experience managing a market/portfolio and supervising 23 coders
Solid presentation skills (creating and delivering presentations)
Immediate availability (015 days)
