Role Description This full time on-site Cardiologist role is based in Kozhikode and involves providing comprehensive cardiac care to patients in a clinical and hospital setting. The Cardiologist will conduct thorough assessments, diagnose and manage cardiovascular conditions, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop evidence-based treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include performing outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

The role may also involve performing interventional procedures, participating in emergency cardiac care, and contributing to clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives.



The Cardiologist is expected to maintain accurate medical records, adhere to regulatory and ethical standards, and engage in continuous professional development.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Medicine with proven clinical experience in internal medicine or related disciplines.

- Specialized expertise in Cardiology, including diagnosis and management of a broad spectrum of cardiovascular diseases.

- Skills in Interventional Cardiology and Vascular procedures, with the ability to perform or support invasive cardiovascular interventions as applicable.

- Familiarity with Nuclear Medicine techniques and cardiac imaging modalities for diagnostic and treatment planning purposes.

- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in Cardiology (MD, DM, or equivalent), with valid medical registration and licenses.

- Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills, with a patient-centered and ethical approach to care.

- Willingness to work on-site in Kozhikode and participate in rotational duties, including emergency and on-call responsibilities.

- Prior experience in a hospital or tertiary care cardiac unit is highly beneficial; proficiency in local languages is an added advantage.
