Role SummaryThe SOC Manager leads the Security Operations Center, ensuring effective monitoring, detection, response, and mitigation of cybersecurity threats across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day SOC operations and incident response activities
Lead, mentor, and develop SOC analysts (L1/L2/L3)
Oversee security monitoring tools (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IDS/IPS)
Ensure timely detection, analysis, containment, and remediation of incidents
Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, SOPs, and runbooks
Coordinate with IT, risk, compliance, and leadership during security incidents
Track SOC KPIs, metrics, and provide regular reports to management
Support compliance requirements (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, etc.)
Support in proposals, RFP, RFI, bids, etc.





Required Skills & Experience
7+ years in cybersecurity, including SOC or incident response experience
Solid knowledge of threat detection, malware analysis, and attack frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK;)
Experience with SIEM/SOAR platforms and security operations processes
Solid leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Hands-on experience on NextGen MDR tools (MS Sentinel, Google SecOps, CS NGSIEM, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or CEH
Experience managing 24x7 SOC operations and shift rotations.
