General Nursing and Midwifery

Core Responsibilities
Patient Care: Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure), administer oral and injected medications, and change dressings.
Clinical Assistance: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize and set up medical equipment, and help physicians during physical exams and minor procedures.
Midwifery and Maternal Care: Provide prenatal and postnatal support to mothers and assist with basic midwifery duties during childbirth.
Record Keeping: Document patient histories, record medications administered, and update daily medical files.
Patient Education: Advise patients and their families on hygiene, preventative health care, nutrition, and recovery instructions.

Key Skills and Qualifications
Qualification:



Completion of a recognized GNM diploma course and registration with a state nursing council.
Clinical Competency: Solid grasp of nursing foundations, basic pharmacology, and emergency response procedures.
Soft Skills: Active communication, patience, empathy, and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
Work Environment: Ability to stand for long periods and work in rotational shifts
