Role Description The Azure Cloud Computing Intern will support the design, deployment, and management of cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure in a remote setting. Daily responsibilities may include assisting with configuring virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking resources, monitoring performance and security, and helping troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues. The intern will collaborate with instructors and technical teams to document best practices, create learning resources, and contribute to lab exercises and training modules.

This is an internship role, offering remote,



project-based experience and exposure to modern cloud technologies while working within a structured learning environment.

Qualifications

- Foundational understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, with interest in Microsoft Azure services such as virtual machines, storage, and networking.
- Basic familiarity with scripting or programming (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or similar) and comfort working with command-line tools and configuration files.
- Knowledge of core IT infrastructure topics such as operating systems, databases, networking fundamentals, and information security principles.
- Ability to research technical topics, follow documentation, and learn new tools quickly, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Transparent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in remote teams and document processes in a structured manner.
- Current undergraduate student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively while working independently in a remote internship environment.
