Associate Consultant (Finance & Compliance)

Eligibility Criteria: We are looking for driven individuals with a solid foundation in Indian accounting and statutory compliance who meet the following qualifications:
- MBA in Finance/Accounting OR M.Com. with a strong academic record.
- Mandatory Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience working in a CA firm or a corporate tax department.
- Communication: Solid verbal and written communication skills in English for reporting and internal coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Statutory & Corporate Compliance

- Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including return preparation, filing, and reconciliations.
- Manage TDS compliance, including challan preparation and return filing.
- Take care of MCA compliances, including annual filings and routine ROC forms.
- Maintain compliance calendars, trackers, and statutory records.
- Assist in responding to basic notices and queries related to statutory filings.

- Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Maintain and finalize books of accounts using Zoho Books and Tally Prime.




- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, vendor ledger matching, and ensure timely month end/year-end closures.
- Prepare accurate financial reports in line with Indian Accounting Standards.

- Financial Analysis & Planning

- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and variance analysis.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
- Support senior consultants in financial analysis and advisory assignments.
- Use MS Excel extensively for reconciliations, schedules, MIS, and analysis.
- Utilize Advanced Excel (Pivots, Lookups, Data Validation) for complex financial workings and data cleaning.

- Preferred Skills & Competencies:

- Hands-on experience with cloud-based accounting tools (Zoho) and Tally.
- Research-driven approach with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple compliance deadlines and work efficiently in a hybrid setup.
- Eagerness to learn new tax amendments and contribute to process improvements.
