Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Multi-Purpose Technician to join our team in Visakhapatnam, India. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of equipment and systems across our facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate solid analytical skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely. You will work independently and collaboratively to address maintenance needs, perform preventive maintenance, and support the smooth operation of our organization.
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
Diagnose equipment malfunctions using appropriate diagnostic tools and troubleshoot issues efficiently
Execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair calls
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety protocols and organizational standards
Operate and maintain various tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments




Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities
Identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment optimization
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations

Qualifications
Proven experience in equipment maintenance, repair, or facility management
Solid technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Solid understanding of preventive maintenance principles and practices
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and maintenance documentation
Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a protected work environment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant technical certifications or licenses (preferred)
Experience with equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting (preferred)
