nAssociate Programmer
nPurpose
nThe role of the Associate Programmer is to learn the skills and knowledge required in the role of a clinical study statistical programmer and to progress towards providing programming support to the statistics and programming department across a range of projects, clients and therapeutic areas.

nTechnical:

- Understanding of clinical drug development process, relevant disease areas, endpoints and basic study designsn
- Awareness of industry and project standards & ICH guidelinesn
- Awareness of importance of standards (including CDISC, TFLs, ICH, SOPs) and what standards are being applied to specified client accountsn




- Awareness and understanding of clinical trial documents including protocols, SAPs, CRFs, CSRsn
- Familiarisation with dataset standardsn
- Perform basic data checks and data exploration (e.g. using frequencies, histograms)n
- Program non-complex datasets and TFLs following specifications, applying good programming practicen
