A. Prescription & Dispensing
Receive and verify prescriptions/orders before dispensing medicines.
Dispense the correct medicine, strength, dosage, and quantity.
Check prescriptions for possible errors, duplication, or obvious contraindications and escalate concerns to the doctor when required.
Explain dosage, timing, storage, and basic precautions to patients.
Ensure medicines are properly labelled.
B. Inventory Management
Maintain adequate stock of medicines and consumables.
Monitor expiry dates, batch numbers, and stock levels.
Follow FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) principles.
Prepare purchase/reorder requirements in advance.
Conduct regular physical stock verification.
Identify and report damaged, expired, or slow-moving medicines
