Job DescriptionRoute One Advisory Services is growing its accounting and advisory practice and is seeking an
nexperienced Senior Accountant to join our team.
nThis role is an chance to work with a qualified-services firm supporting a diverse
nportfolio of businesses with accounting, financial reporting, controller-level support, and
nfractional CFO services.
nThe Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and reviewing accounting activities for
nmultiple clients, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reporting, and
nsupporting the Route One team in delivering high-quality work to our clients.
nWhat You'll Do

Manage day-to-day accounting activities for multiple client engagementsn
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statementsn
Perform month-end and year-end closing proceduresn
Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliationsn
Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure financial data is accurate and completen
Reconcile bank, credit card, accounts receivable, accounts payable,



and other balancen

nsheet accounts

Analyze financial statements and investigate unusual or unexpected variancesn
Prepare management reports and supporting schedulesn
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow reportingn
Support client accounts payable and accounts receivable processesn
Identify accounting issues, inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvementn
Assist with accounting cleanup and remediation projectsn
Work with client management and Route One's senior team to resolve accounting andn

nreporting issues
