Job DescriptionRoute One Advisory Services is expanding its accounting and advisory practice and is seeking
nan experienced Tax Accountant to join our team.
nThis role will support Route One's clients with tax compliance, tax preparation, financial
nreporting, tax-related research, and tax planning support while working closely with our
naccounting and senior advisory teams.
nThe ideal candidate combines robust technical accounting and tax knowledge with the ability to
nwork across multiple client engagements and communicate effectively with internal teams and
nclients.
nWhat You'll Do
n• Prepare and support preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for business
nentities and individuals, as applicable

Prepare supporting tax schedules and workpapersn
Review financial statements and general ledger activity for tax reporting purposesn
Perform tax account reconciliations and identify discrepanciesn
Research tax issues and provide supporting analysisn
Assist with tax planning and estimated tax calculationsn




Support tax projections and scenario analysisn
Assist with year-end tax provision and tax-related accounting activitiesn
Coordinate tax information and documentation with clientsn
Identify missing or inconsistent information required for tax filingsn
Assist with responding to tax notices and other tax authority correspondencen
Support tax audits and information requestsn
Work closely with Route One's accounting and advisory teams to ensure taxn

nconsiderations are incorporated into client financial planning

Maintain organized and complete tax workpapers and documentationn
Stay current with relevant tax law, regulations, and filing requirementsn
Assist with special tax and accounting projects as neededn
