Buildhood is a residential construction company specializing in independent houses, villas, duplex homes, and multi-storey residential buildings. We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect who can take ownership of architectural design and coordinate effectively with clients, structural consultants, MEP consultants, and site execution teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage architectural design for independent houses, villas, duplex homes, and residential buildings.
- Understand client requirements, lifestyle preferences, budget, and functional needs.
- Develop concept designs, floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed working drawings.
- Prepare and review architectural drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Develop attractive and practical 3D designs and presentations for client approvals.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other MEP requirements.
- Review drawings and ensure they are practical and suitable for site execution.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor architectural execution and resolve design-related issues.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Structural Consultants, and vendors.
- Review material selections, finishes, colours, façade elements, and other architectural details.
- Identify design conflicts and provide timely solutions during construction.
- Ensure projects follow approved drawings, design standards, and quality requirements.
- Attend client meetings and confidently present design concepts, drawings, and modifications.




- Manage design revisions based on client and project requirements.
- Support the project team from concept design through construction and final handover.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely completion of drawings and design deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution.
- 5–6 years of relevant experience in residential architecture.
- Strong experience in designing independent houses, villas, duplex homes, and premium residences.
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good working knowledge of SketchUp / 3D visualization / rendering software.
- Knowledge of architectural detailing and construction practices.
- Good understanding of structural and MEP coordination.
- Strong knowledge of building materials, finishes, façade design, and residential construction.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and MEP drawings.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bengaluru.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in premium residential projects.
- Knowledge of Vastu principles and ability to incorporate them into designs when required.
- Experience with 3D Max, Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray, Revit, or similar tools.
- Experience coordinating with contractors, consultants, and site teams.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating completed residential projects.
