Job Summary

Wellcaza School of Health Sciences is looking for a passionate, academically qualified and knowledgeable Part-Time Tutor in Environmental Sciences to support the academic development of students through engaging, structured and student-centred teaching.

The tutor will be responsible for delivering lectures, facilitating academic discussions, supporting assignments and helping students understand the relationship between environmental factors, public health, sanitation and healthcare for BSc Allied Health Scinces programme.

Eligibility & Academic Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following academic requirements:

- Master's Degree in Environmental Sciences / Environmental Studies / Environmental Management, OR
- Postgraduate Degree in Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences or Physical Sciences, along with an M.Phil. in Environmental Sciences.
- The required qualification(s) must be obtained through Regular, Full-Time mode from a UGC-recognised/approved university or institution.

Important Eligibility Note

Candidates who have obtained their qualifying degree(s) through Online / Distance Education mode will not be considered for this position.

Candidates whose qualifying degrees are awarded by foreign universities/institutions whos QS ranking is above 250 globally are also not eligible for this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and structured classes in Environmental Sciences / Environmental Management.
- Explain fundamental concepts related to environment, ecology, pollution, environmental health and sustainability.
- Cover topics such as air pollution, water pollution, waste management, biomedical waste, pesticides, heavy metals and environmental monitoring, as relevant to the curriculum.
