- Perform quality control inspections and maintain rigorous shipyard QC procedures.
- Conduct dimensional, visual, and specialized inspections on welding and fabrication work.
- Coordinate effectively with production and inspection teams to ensure compliance.
- Maintain, review, and complete relevant QC documentation, inspection reports, and quality procedures.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a Shipyard, Marine, or Fabrication industry. Candidates with direct shipyard or marine industry experience are highly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Practical knowledge of shipbuilding and ship repair processes.
- Solid understanding of welding, fabrication, dimensional, and visual inspection standards.
- Familiarity with industry-specific QC documentation and reporting standards.
