Designation: Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) (HFC)

Reporting to: Managing Director / CEO

Responsibilities:

- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure strict compliance with RBI/NHB norms, Digital Lending Guidelines, PMLA, KYC/AML.
- Framework & Policy: Design, implement, and update robust compliance frameworks, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the NBFC/HFC.
- Reporting & Filings: Prepare and submit accurate periodic returns, disclosures, and reports to the NHB and other authorities.
- Work as Administrator and checker at regulatory portal like CRAMIS, HFR etc.
- Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for RBI, manage inspections, audits, and respond to regulatory queries at NHB/RBI/Govt.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess,



and mitigate compliance risks; advise on recent business models and products from a regulatory perspective.
- Audits & Testing: Lead internal/external audits, manage audit findings, and conduct compliance testing across departments.
- Training & Culture: Develop and deliver compliance training programs to foster a strong ethical and compliant culture.
- Board & Management Support: Provide updates, reports, and strategic advice on compliance matters to the Board and senior management.
- Resolving/preparing and submitting the information asked by Finance Ministry, Urban Development Ministry, RBI and NHB on day-to-day basis.

Role Purpose:

The role is responsible for ensuring end-to-end compliance with all applicable RBI/NHB regulations, statutory requirements, and regulatory guidelines. It provides independent oversight of compliance risk, manages regulatory reporting and filings, acts as the primary liaison with regulators, and supports the Board and senior management with timely compliance updates and strategic guidance, while fostering a strong culture of compliance across the organization.

Qualifications:

- Any post-graduation
- MBA/PGDM in Finance/Risk/Compliance/Corporate Governance or equivalent will be preferred
- Additional certification/course in Compliance or any related field will be an added advantage

Experience:

- 2 Years – 3 Years in regulatory compliance with NBFCs-HFC’s.

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of RBI and Compliance management required.
- Deep understanding of Indian financial regulations, digital lending, data privacy, AML/KYC.
- Strong analytical and multitasking skills.
- Problem-solving ability.
