Job Summary

As a Senior UI/UX Engineer for Tablets & Large Screens, you will be UI/UX Visual Engineer of android application's most complex and powerful interfaces. You are a specialist who understands that designing for a 12.9" tablet is fundamentally different from designing for a 6.1" phone.

The mission is to translate complex workflows, dense data, and advanced functionality into an experience that is intuitive, powerful, and elegant. To go beyond simple responsive layouts to design for multi-panel interfaces, high-information-density dashboards, and advanced inputs like keyboard, mouse, and trackpad.

A visual craftsperson obsessed with pixel-perfect execution and a systems-thinker who understands how a user in a "lean-forward" productivity mindset expects to work.

Key Responsibilities

- Design Validation & Auditing: Conduct comprehensive, manual UI/UX inspection of Android apps ensuring strict adherence to design specifications, wireframes, and prototypes (e.g., in Figma/Sketch).

- Desktop-Grade Interaction Design: Design and specify the behavior of advanced interaction models. This is not just a "touch" interface. You must be an expert in:

- Pointer & Mouse: Design for hover states, custom pointer accessories (e.g., I-beams, cursors), precision targeting,



and right-click/secondary-click context menus.

- Keyboard: Create intuitive and discoverable keyboard shortcuts for common actions. Ensure the entire application is navigable and operable via keyboard (Tabbing, Enter, Escape).

- Drag and Drop: Define complex drag-and-drop interactions for tasks like file management, list reordering, and content insertion.

Skill Requirements

- 5+ years in UI/UX or product design, with a strong focus on complex desktop based applications or pro-grade creative tools.

- Deep practical knowledge of Android Material Design principles and patterns.

- Expertise in UI/UX inspection, validation, and feedback on visual layouts, typography, spacing, and responsive behavior.

- Proficiency in using skilled design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD) to inspect and measure design files.

Other Requirements

- Experience designing for "pro" or creative applications (e.g., code editors, video/photo editors, 3D modeling, design tools).

- Knowledge of platform-specific features like Apple's Stage Manager or designing for ChromeOS.

- Prototyping skills that demonstrate complex interactions (e.g., in Figma, Protopie, or Framer).

- A basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS) and how responsive grids are implemented.
