Position: Chief Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

The Chief Electrical Engineer is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the complete electrical infrastructure, power distribution systems, and backup utilities across the hotel and campus facilities. This role ensures uninterrupted operational efficiency, strict adherence to safety standards, minimal downtime, and energy conservation, providing a seamless experience for guests and students.

Core Responsibilities includes:

- Operations & Maintenance: Oversee routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance of HT/LT panels, transformers, diesel generators, UPS systems, and HVAC controls.
- System Reliability: Monitor daily electricity consumption and power factors to maintain smooth operations with zero downtime across kitchens, labs, guest rooms, and server infrastructure.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict statutory regulations, lightning protection protocols, and electrical safety codes to minimize operational risks.
- Vendor & Project Management: Supervise external contractors and technical teams for electrical upgrades, renovations,



and new infrastructure installations.
- Energy Efficiency: Identify and implement power-saving initiatives, eco-friendly systems, and green energy audits to lower institutional carbon footprints.

Key Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 10 and above years of facility engineering experience, ideally within a 4/5-star hotel, commercial complex, or academic campus.
- Licensure: Valid Electrical Supervisor/Engineer License issued by competent government authorities is highly preferred.
- Technical Know-how: Strong practical knowledge of DG sets, central AMF panels, fire alarm interfaces, and standard building management systems (BMS).
- Availability: Willingness to handle flexible schedule or emergency on-call shifts to support uninterrupted hospital facility workflows.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
