Job Description – Maintenance In-Charge

Location: Multiple Sites / Project Locations
Department: Maintenance / Operations
Reports To: Site Manager / Head – Operations

Job Purpose

Responsible for ensuring the reliable and safe operation of machinery, equipment and site infrastructure through preventive maintenance, timely breakdown response and effective maintenance planning.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day maintenance of machinery, equipment and electrical/mechanical systems.
- Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Attend breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime.
- Identify recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain maintenance records, equipment history and spare-parts inventory.
- Coordinate with technicians, vendors and service providers.
- Ensure availability of critical spares, tools and consumables.
- Monitor maintenance costs and control unnecessary expenses.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures during maintenance activities.
- Conduct regular inspection of equipment and identify potential failures.




- Maintain AMC/service schedules and equipment documentation.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly maintenance MIS for management.
- Train and supervise maintenance technicians and helpers.

Required Qualification & Experience

- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile or related engineering field.
- 3-4 years relevant maintenance experience.
- Experience in managing large sites, machinery and maintenance teams preferred.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis and troubleshooting.
- Positive team-management, documentation and vendor-coordination skills.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
