We are seeking a highly capable Finance Manager to support our growing UK accounting and outsourced CFO practice. The role combines technical accounting, management reporting, client interaction, financial analysis, systems implementation and process improvement.

The successful candidate will work directly with UK-based clients, senior management teams and CFOs, therefore excellent spoken and written English is essential.

This is not a traditional accounting role. We are looking for someone who enjoys learning new systems, improving processes, analysing data and helping businesses make better decisions.

Key Responsibilities

UK Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Manage end-to-end accounting for multiple UK clients
- Review and process accounting transactions
- Maintain general ledger accuracy
- Perform bank, payroll, VAT and balance sheet reconciliations
- Process accruals, prepayments and month-end journals
- Review accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules

Management Accounts

- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Produce P&L;, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports
- Deliver budget versus actual analysis
- Prepare variance commentary for management
- Support rolling forecasts and financial planning activities

VAT & Compliance

- Prepare and review UK VAT returns
- Support year-end statutory accounts preparation
- Assist with corporation tax schedules
- Liaise with external accountants and auditors
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and HMRC requirements

Cash Flow & Treasury

- Monitor daily cash positions
- Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts




- Support payment runs for suppliers, contractors and payroll
- Assist with working capital management

CFO & Business Support

- Support CFOs with financial modelling and business analysis
- Prepare board packs and KPI reports
- Analyse profitability, margins and operational performance
- Assist with due diligence, fundraising and strategic projects where required

Systems & Automation

- Maintain and improve Xero accounting systems
- Support integrations between software platforms
- Develop management reports and dashboards
- Drive automation initiatives using modern finance technology
- Quickly learn and adopt new software platforms

Essential Requirements

Qualifications

- ACCA Part-Qualified (minimum)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Commerce
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in UK accounting

Technical Skills

- Robust knowledge of UK accounting principles
- Experience preparing Management Accounts
- Experience with UK VAT returns
- Experience with month-end close procedures
- Strong Excel skills including:
- Pivot Tables
- XLOOKUP
- SUMIFS
- Data Analysis
- Financial Modelling

Systems Experience

- Xero (essential)
- Hubspot
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Power BI (desirable)
- QuickBooks Online (desirable)




- Ability to learn new systems quickly

Communication Skills

This is a critical requirement.

Candidates must demonstrate:

- Excellent spoken English
- Excellent written English
- Ability to write professional client emails
- Confidence participating in meetings with UK clients
- Strong presentation and communication skills

Preferred Experience

- UK accounting practice experience
- Outsourcing industry experience
- Multi-client portfolio management
- SaaS or technology sector experience
- Experience supporting CFO or Finance Director functions
- Power BI reporting experience
- Process automation and workflow optimisation

- Month-end completed within 5 working days
- VAT returns submitted accurately and on time
- Client satisfaction scores
- Minimal accounting errors
- Cash flow forecast accuracy
- Successful adoption of new systems and processes
- Timely completion of management reporting
- Continuous process improvement initiatives

Working Hours: UK hours from 9am to 6pm everyday and follow UK public holidays

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
