Job Summary

- Ensure a wide range of quality reading material and other resources in the library, catering to diverse needs and interests.
- Ensure that all resources are properly catalogued, organized and maintained appropriately.
- Develop and implement a library management system.
- Develop and implement library rules and regulations in keeping with the school policy.
- Promote information literacy
- establish easy access to material and online resources
- to support staff and students in the process of inquiry * Promote and encourage the enjoyment of reading for purpose and pleasure in staff and students and help them develop reading skills.
- Initiate reading programs among staff and students.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to
- enhance the quality of the collection
- optimize utilization of all the available resources
- develop students as life-long readers * Conduct workshops and training for the Students and Teachers
- Contribute towards professional development programs for the staff in line with the Vision & Model of the school
- Promote awareness of Information Research techniques, Global Perspective on information analysis,



Plagiarism, Intellectual Property etc.
- Be thorough with the school curriculum and procure required resources.
- Liaise with external agencies to acquire information, to improve collection etc
- Prepare annual budgets for the library.
- Be updated with developing trends and facilitate appropriate storage of e-resources.
