Title: SAP S4 ABAP Technical Lead

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP S4 ABAP Technical Lead with 10+ years of SAP experience and strong hands-on expertise in ABAP development and S/4HANA Brownfield implementations. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical skills with strong leadership, organization, documentation, and customer-facing abilities.

Description

- Lead SAP ABAP technical activities for S/4HANA Brownfield transformation and implementation projects.
- Provide hands-on expertise in ABAP development, troubleshooting, and custom code remediation.
- Drive S/4HANA custom code remediation and ensure existing developments are compatible with the target S/4HANA environment.
- Lead technical planning, execution, and delivery of ABAP workstreams.
- Work closely with customers, functional teams, architects, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and deliver solutions.
- Manage customer expectations and confidently work with strong or demanding customer personalities.
- Maintain explicit and accurate technical documentation, plans, status updates, and deliverables.
- Take ownership of technical activities, prioritize work, and proactively drive tasks to completion.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to ABAP developers while remaining hands-on with development and remediation work.

Requirements:





- 10+ years of SAP experience with strong ABAP technical expertise.
- Proven experience with at least 2 SAP S/4HANA Brownfield implementations.
- Strong hands-on experience in ABAP development and custom code remediation.
- Experience supporting S/4HANA conversion, remediation, testing, and technical delivery activities.
- Strong technical leadership and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to work effectively with demanding customers and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent organization, planning, communication, and documentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take ownership and make technical decisions.
- Ability to lead technical teams while remaining hands-on with ABAP development and remediation.
