ROLE OF OPHTHALMOLOGIST: TO EXAMINE, DIAGNOSE, AND MANAGE EYE-RELATED CONDITIONS, PERFORM NECESSARY OPHTHALMIC PROCEDURES/SURGERIES, PRESCRIBE APPROPRIATE TREATMENT, AND PROVIDE PRE- AND POST-OPERATIVE CARE.
Main responsibilities:
- Examination of eyes and assessment of vision
- Diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as cataract, glaucoma, conjunctivitis, refractive errors, diabetic retinopathy, etc.
- Performing eye procedures and surgeries, including cataract surgery
- Prescribing spectacles, contact lenses, and appropriate medications
- Managing eye injuries, infections, and other ocular emergencies
- Performing pre-operative and post-operative eye assessments
- Conselling the Patient
- Maintaining proper medical records and providing clinical documentation
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
