We are looking for a Site Engineer to manage day-to-day site activities for an electrical project at Naval Base, Karwar. The project involves fabrication of cable trays and laying of cables. The candidate will be responsible for supervising workers, planning daily tasks, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and coordinating with clients/authorities at the naval base.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities (fabrication + cable laying).
- Plan daily work schedules and allocate manpower.
- Monitor progress against project timelines and report to management.
- Ensure fabrication and installation work meets quality standards and drawings.
- Coordinate with client/site authorities at the Naval Base for approvals and inspections.
- Maintain site documentation — daily progress reports, material tracking, manpower logs.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed on site.
- Resolve on-site technical issues and liaise between workers and management.

Requirements:

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (or related field)




- Experience handling industrial electrical projects, especially cable tray fabrication and cable laying
- Ability to independently manage site operations and manpower
- Strong coordination and reporting skills
- Willingness to be based at Naval Base Karwar for the full 6-month contract duration & Extendable.
- Prior experience with defense/government site projects preferred

Salary: As per industry standards

Duration: 6 Months (Contract)

Note: This is a site-based role at a Naval facility — candidate may need to transparent basic security/verification checks for site access.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Karwar, Karnataka (Karwar): Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
