Non-grant support for hospitals could include addressing critical gaps in services, technology support, support for quality benchmarking standards, and facilitating access to specialist services through travelling specialists/telemedicine, among others.
The Manager – Network Hospital Support will lead the team anchoring these non-grant support activities for hospitals in the network, in coordination with internal teams, external partners, and hospitals.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead network support function
- Anchor all non-financial, non-grant support provided to hospitals in the network
- Build and manage a pool of resource persons, consultants, and domain experts
- Develop simple frameworks and processes to assess hospital gaps and track improvements
2. Hospital engagement and need assessment
- Engage with hospitals to understand their functioning, challenges, and priorities, while coordinating with the respective grant managers
- Identify key areas for improvement and co-develop support plans with the respective grant manager and hospital teams
- Work closely with internal teams, including grant team, tech for social sector, and consultants to ensure alignment
3. Coordination of support interventions
- Mobilize and coordinate domain experts (clinical, quality, operations, biomedical, HR etc.) based on hospital needs
- Coordinate with the grants team, tech team, and other relevant teams to implement key support interventions, including technology (telemedicine, hospital operations, ERP, HMS), travelling specialists, mentorship support, and others
- Support hospitals in adopting quality standards, benchmarking practices, and working towards certification and accreditation
- Track and document the effectiveness of support interventions
What we look for:
Good understanding of hospital operations especially in charitable / public hospital setting
Experience working closely in hospitals or with hospitals in a partnership role
Experience in hospital administration, quality improvement, or hospital systems strengthening would be an added advantage
10 - 15 years of experience in healthcare or hospital sector
Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external experts
Willingness to travel extensively for work
Ability to work with minimal supervision and solve problems independently or collaboratively if needed
Partnership and collaboration skills
Solid communication and documentation skills
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
