Role Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with hands-on experience in Canva and short-form video/reel creation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing engaging, high-quality video content for social media platforms, marketing campaigns, and brand promotions.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, edit, and publish short-form videos and reels for platforms like Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Design and edit visually appealing content using Canva and other editing tools
- Work closely with the marketing/content team to conceptualize video ideas aligned with brand messaging
- Add transitions, effects, text overlays, music, and voiceovers to enhance video quality
- Edit raw footage into polished, publish-ready videos within tight timelines
- Optimize videos for different platform specifications (aspect ratio, length, format)
- Stay updated with current social media trends, reels formats, and editing styles
- Manage and organize video content libraries and project files
- Collaborate with photographers/content creators to source raw footage and assets
- Ensure consistency in branding, tone, and style across all video content
- Incorporate feedback and revisions promptly
- Knowledge of AI Video editing tools

Required Qualifications





- Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing, specifically in short reels/video content creation
- Proficiency in Canva for video and graphic editing
- Working knowledge of video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, InShot, or similar)
- Strong understanding of social media video formats and best practices (Reels, Shorts, Stories)
- Valuable sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and timing
- Basic knowledge of color correction, audio syncing, and text animation
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro
- Basic graphic design skills (thumbnails, banners, social media creatives)
- Knowledge of trending audio, hooks, and reel formats for higher engagement
- Portfolio or previous work samples showcasing reels/short video projects
