Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a surgical technologist or specialized endoscopy program is often preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Room and Equipment Setup: Prepare procedure suites, arrange tools, and ensure scopes and monitors function properly.
- Procedure Assistance: Help doctors and nurses during tests like colonoscopies or upper endoscopies, handle instruments, and retrieve medical specimens.
- Patient Care: Monitor patient vital signs, assist with comfortable positioning, and offer support to reduce anxiety.
- Reprocessing and Sterilization: Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopes and accessories strictly following manufacturer guidelines and infection control rules.
- Inventory Control: Restock supplies, track inventory levels, and report damaged tools.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
