THE ROLE

At Craft My Plate, we’re strengthening our finance function as we scale, and this 3-6 months, project-based internship is about building that foundation from the ground up. Our books have so far been maintained on Google Sheets and operational systems – you’ll help set up proper books of accounts, migrate two years of historical data into Tally or Zoho Books, and build a clean, reconciled accounting database.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

– Help set up books of accounts in Tally Prime or Zoho Books – chart of accounts, ledgers, vendors and customers

– Review financial data from Google Sheets and migrate it in, passing accounting entries for historical transactions

– Run bank, vendor and customer reconciliations, and track down discrepancies in past records

– Support ledger scrutiny, documentation and MIS/financial reporting as the books get cleaned up

YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU

– Are CA Inter/IPCC (or a dropout), or a B.Com/M.Com graduate with strong accounting fundamentals – freshers with excellent accounting knowledge welcome too

– Understand journal entries, ledgers,



trial balances and financial statements, and are comfortable with bank and account reconciliations

– Are proficient in Excel and Google Sheets; familiarity with Tally Prime or Zoho Books is a plus

– Bring strong analytical, problem-solving skills and are excited to build something from the ground up

WHAT YOU'LL GAIN

– Hands-on experience building an accounting system from scratch, with direct mentorship from the Finance & Accounts Lead

– Real exposure to startup finance, compliance and reporting – with genuine ownership, not just data entry

– Strong performers may be offered a full time Accounts Associate role at the end of the internship

Working days- 6 days/week
Timings - 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
