On-Field Service Engineer – Solar Inverters

KSolare Energy Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced On-Field Service Engineer to handle installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of solar inverters at customer/project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Visit customer/project sites for inverter servicing, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Diagnose inverter faults and identify root causes using testing equipment.
- Troubleshoot AC/DC systems, power circuits, control circuits, communication, sensors, cooling systems, and protection systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, testing, and commissioning.
- Replace/repair defective components and coordinate with technical/R&D; teams for complex issues.
- Handle customer complaints and provide technical support to customers, EPCs, dealers, and site teams.
- Prepare service, site visit, failure analysis, and repair reports.
- Maintain fault history and provide feedback on recurring field issues.




- Travel extensively across project/customer locations as required.

Technical Skills:

- Positive knowledge of Electrical/Electronics, Solar PV systems, and solar inverters.
- Ability to read circuit and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of IGBTs/MOSFETs, capacitors, relays, contactors, SMPS, sensors, etc.
- Hands-on experience with multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester, oscilloscope, and other testing tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-handling skills.

Qualification & Experience:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, E&TC;, or related field.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in solar inverters, UPS, power electronics, or renewable energy.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work at customer sites.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
