Position: Nursing Superintendent

Alam Hospital & Research Centre is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and vision-driven Nursing Superintendent to lead our nursing division, elevate clinical care standards, and optimize nursing workflows across all hospital departments.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Administrative Leadership: Direct and oversee nursing operations across all wards, ICUs, OTs, and critical care units.
Staffing & Roster Management: Plan duty rotas, optimize nurse-to-patient ratios, and manage efficient nursing resource allocation.
Quality & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to NABH standards, hospital infection control protocols, and clinical safety policies.
Training & Mentorship: Lead onboarding, continuous nursing education, clinical evaluations, and skill development for head nurses and staff nurses.
Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with the Medical Superintendent, HODs, and Hospital Administration to resolve operational bottlenecks and elevate patient care.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing / Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing.
Experience: 8–12+ years of clinical experience,
with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory/administrative role (Assistant Nursing Superintendent, Deputy NS, or Senior Nursing In-Charge).
Licensure: Valid registration with the Jharkhand State Nursing Council (or any recognized State Nursing Council).
Skills: Strong leadership, clinical governance, crisis management, team building, and operational planning.
