Dell Boomi Middleware Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Dell Boomi Middleware Developer to join our client’s integration team on a long-term remote engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing, developing, supporting, and troubleshooting integrations using the Dell Boomi AtomSphere platform.

The consultant will work with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and cloud-based systems to build reliable integration solutions and support existing integration processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, and maintain integrations using Dell Boomi AtomSphere.
- Develop Boomi processes, integrations, mappings, transformations, and workflows.
- Configure and work with Boomi connectors, APIs, web services, and integration components.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration failures and production issues.
- Analyze data and integration errors and perform root-cause analysis.
- Develop new integrations between enterprise applications and systems.
- Enhance and maintain existing Boomi integrations.
- Work with REST and SOAP APIs and various data formats including XML, JSON, CSV, and flat files.
- Develop data mappings and transformations using Boomi Map functions and scripting where required.
- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, deployment, and production support.
- Collaborate with application, database, ERP, and business teams to understand integration requirements.




- Document integration architecture, processes, mappings, and technical solutions.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to integration design decisions.
- Follow development, testing, deployment, and support standards.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of IT experience with strong hands-on Dell Boomi experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on Dell Boomi AtomSphere development experience preferred.
- Strong experience developing and supporting enterprise integrations.
- Experience with Boomi processes, connectors, maps, profiles, APIs, and environments.
- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
- Experience working with XML, JSON, CSV, and flat-file formats.
- Experience with data transformation and mapping.
- Strong troubleshooting and production-support experience.
- Experience with integration testing and deployment.
- Positive understanding of integration architecture and enterprise application connectivity.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with teams across different countries and time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

- Dell Boomi certification.
- Experience with Boomi API Management.
- Experience with cloud applications and SaaS integrations.
- Experience with ERP, CRM, WMS, or other enterprise applications.
- Experience with SQL/database integrations.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and integration deployment processes.
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients or global teams.
- English communication skills required.
