Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations and smooth functioning of the Operation Theatre.
- Prepare the daily OT schedule and allocate duties to OT staff.
- Ensure OT readiness, cleanliness, infection control, and adherence to sterilization protocols.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses, CSSD, housekeeping, and other departments for smooth conduct of surgeries.
- Ensure availability and readiness of surgical instruments, equipment, consumables, and emergency supplies.
- Verify patient identification, consent, medical records, and pre-operative requirements before surgery.
- Supervise patient preparation, positioning, shifting, and secure handover to the recovery room.
- Supervise scrub and circulating duties and ensure compliance with OT safety protocols.
- Ensure proper counting of swabs,



instruments, and needles before and after procedures.
- Coordinate cleaning, disinfection, fumigation, and sterilization of the OT and instruments.
- Monitor OT stock, equipment condition, and timely replenishment of required materials.
- Maintain OT registers, surgical records, and other required documentation.
- Supervise OT staff, ensure discipline, and provide guidance on OT procedures and protocols.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection-control standards, and quality requirements.
- Report equipment issues, shortages, incidents, and other operational concerns to the concerned authority.
- Perform other OT-related duties assigned by the management.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
