Position: Estimation, Costing & Tendering Engineer – Electrical

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Estimation, Costing & Tendering Engineer – Electrical to handle electrical project estimation, costing, tender preparation, and commercial documentation. The candidate should have valuable knowledge of electrical systems, BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, vendor quotations, and tender processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed electrical project estimates and cost calculations.
- Study electrical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
- Prepare BOQ, quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and costing.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial tender documents.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Compare vendor quotations and prepare comparative statements.
- Coordinate with the Engineering, Procurement, Projects, and Sales teams for project requirements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality and specifications.




- Assist in preparing tender proposals, techno-commercial offers, and final quotations.
- Follow up on tender clarifications, revisions, and submission requirements.
- Maintain estimation, costing, and tender records for future reference.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Electrical Estimation, Costing & Tendering.
- Good understanding of electrical materials, equipment, and installations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and BOQs.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and estimation/costing tools.
- Good analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tender submission deadlines.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or equivalent.

Experience

- 2–3 years of relevant experience in Electrical Estimation, Costing, Tendering, EPC, MEP, or Electrical Projects.

CTC: ₹3.00–4.00 LPA, based on experience, skills, and interview performance.
