Job Summary

Unix SA resource to raise relevant Change Tickets for Action to be taken on Server
Perform Action of NRI/Nimsoft Reinstall, Server Restart as needed
Unix SA to investogate tickets related to NRI/Nimsoft Agent Issues on a server
Your Key Responsibilities:

- Engineering standard OS builds and layered products, RedHat Enterprise Linux and Suse Linux Enterprise Server
- Testing of components to ensure compatibility and safety
- Developing automation to reduce toil and privileged access
- Writing technical documentation, including design documentation, training materials, and white papers
- Management and ownership of selected critical problem cases within the bank, drive through to resolution as level 3/4 subject matter expertise engineering resource
- Evolve existing tooling for resource harvesting, filesystem encryption, firmware management, etc.

Years of exp: Min 10 years
Unix Administration, Change Ticket Management, NRI Reinstallation, Nimsoft Reinstallation, Server Restart, NRI Issue Investigation, Nimsoft Agent Issue Investigation, Ticket Investigation, Server Support

Your Skills and Experience:

- Detailed understanding of Linux internals
- In-depth knowledge of RedHat Enterprise Linux and Suse Linux Enterprise Server
- Broad knowledge of other Unix Operating Systems and associated add-on technology stacks
- OS level problem determination, problem analysis and tuning experience (memory, disk, network, file system, etc.)
- Experience with Ansible, Puppet, git/stash, TeamCity/Jenkins, Jira, Confluence
- Scripting skills (Python, Perl, shell)
