Fundoo Tutor is an online tutoring platform specialising in Cambridge, IB and international curricula. We work with students across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, the UK and beyond, focusing on concept clarity, exam-oriented preparation and consistent academic progress tracking.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Physics Tutor for Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge AS & A Level, IB MYP and IBDP Physics for online one-to-one classes.

The tutor should have strong expertise in international Physics curricula, exam patterns, assessment requirements, marking schemes and practical skills. The ideal candidate should be able to build robust concepts, improve problem-solving skills and prepare students for high academic achievement.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625), Cambridge AS & A Level Physics (9702), IB MYP Physics and IBDP Physics (SL/HL) through online one-to-one classes.
- Prepare personalised learning plans based on student requirements and examination timelines.
- Use official past papers, examiner reports, mark schemes and assessment criteria for exam preparation.
- Train students in:
- Concept understanding
- Exam answering techniques
- Numerical problem-solving
- Data analysis and practical skills
- Time management strategies
- Assign homework, review student work and provide targeted feedback.
- Maintain progress updates and professional communication with students and parents when required.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 5 years of verified teaching experience in Cambridge/IB Physics.
- Experience teaching one or more:
- Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625)
- Cambridge AS & A Level Physics (9702)
- IB MYP Physics
- IBDP Physics (SL/HL)
- Strong understanding of curriculum requirements, assessment criteria and exam techniques.




- Experience preparing students using past papers and marking schemes.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Comfortable using online teaching tools (Zoom/Google Meet, digital whiteboard, pen tablet, PDFs, etc.).
- Availability during after-school/evening hours and weekends (student time zones).

Preferred (Good to Have)

- Experience helping students achieve A/A* or 6/7 outcomes.
- Experience teaching international students from different regions.
- Ability to create exam-style worksheets, revision material and improvement strategies.
- Experience supporting IBDP Internal Assessment (IA) students.

Work Schedule & Compensation

- Mode: Online (Remote)
