About Grey Sim Learnings Foundation (GSLF)

Grey Sim Learnings Foundation (GSLF) is a Section 8 not-for-profit organisation established in 2013, dedicated to empowering underserved youth through demand-driven vocational education, industry-aligned technical skilling, and sustainable livelihood generation. Operating across multiple states, GSLF collaborates closely with corporate CSRs, state agencies, and educational institutions across three core domains: Skill Development & Livelihoods, ITI Transformation, and Education & STEM.

Through strategic partnerships with HCLFoundation, GSLF establishes modern technology labs across Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and schools, equipping students and instructors with future-ready skills in automation, advanced electronics, and emerging technical trades.

Role Overview

The New Age Skills Trainer will lead hands-on instruction and lab sessions in cutting-edge emerging technologies, including Robotics, Drones, IoT, 3D Printing, and Electric Vehicle (EV) fundamentals. Based at Pune or Lucknow, the trainer is responsible for conducting practical learner workshops, supporting Training-of-Trainer (ToT)

initiatives for ITI faculty, maintaining advanced lab equipment, and ensuring robust project tracking aligned with HCLFoundation deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

- Practical Lab Training: Deliver hands-on practical sessions in emerging domains: Robotics, Arduino microcontrollers, IoT sensor integration, 3D Printing (slicing & additive manufacturing), Drone assembly/operation, and basic Electric Vehicle (EV) systems.
- Instructional Content & Exercises: Develop engaging lesson plans, practical lab exercises, hardware project briefs, and competency assessment rubrics tailored for vocational learners.
- Faculty Development & ToT: Support and facilitate Training-of-Trainer (ToT) capacity-building sessions for ITI instructors to sustain new-age technology adoption in institute curriculums.
- Lab Infrastructure & Technical Support: Oversee daily lab operations, calibrate and maintain 3D printers, drone kits, development boards, sensors, and tooling jigs; handle troubleshooting and inventory logs.
- Project Documentation & Reporting: Track learner attendance, project-based learning milestones, and pre/post assessment scores; prepare structured weekly and monthly progress reports for project governance.
- Student Project Mentorship: Mentor learners through capstone prototypes and project exhibitions, guiding them toward industry readiness, technical competitions, and employment pathways.
