Job Summary
Business System Analyst (BSA) – Functional (Security & Access Control) Role Overview The Business System Analyst (BSA - Functional) is responsible for analyzing security scan outputs, facilitating vulnerability triage/attribution, and auditing access control compliance across the extended workforce (xWF) and FTEs. The BSA serves as the functional subject matter expert, translating security reports and policy requirements into actionable remediation tasks for development teams. Location: Hyderabad Key Responsibilities Vulnerability Analysis & Triage: Review and analyze tool-driven and AI agentic security scan reports (SAST/DAST/LLM security). Evaluate false positives/negatives and categorize security issues by severity and priority.
Attribution & Coordination: Map identified vulnerabilities to responsible owners (LDAP/teams) and act as the liaison to explain vulnerability context and drive rapid resolution. Access Control & Audit Operations: Review periodic Access Control reports/dashboards, monitor lifecycle compliance (xWF onboarding/offboarding/renewals), and perform reconciliation against Least Privilege principles. Functional Process Improvement: Analyze bottlenecks in vulnerability triage and access review workflows; draft functional requirements and process maps to improve operational hygiene.
Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of functional analysis experience in SecOps, Application Security, IT Compliance, or Risk Management environments.
Domain Skills: Strong understanding of static/dynamic scan outputs, common security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, dependency risks), and identity management systems (LDAP, RBAC).
Soft Skills: Outstanding communication skills to liaise effectively between central security auditors and software engineering teams. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to map business processes, data flows, and system vulnerabilities. Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of basic cybersecurity concepts, cloud architectures, and security controls. Communication: Exceptional verbal and writing skills to build consensus between technical and non-technical groups.
