Transport Manager – Vadodara ( Gujarat )

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Vehicle Management

Monitor daily movement of all company vehicles.

Maintain vehicle-wise records: vehicle number, driver, route, KM and trips.

Ensure vehicles are available as per production, dispatch and outlet requirements.

Coordinate vehicle allocation and trip planning.

2. Fuel Management

Track CNG/Diesel consumption vehicle-wise.

Maintain fuel bills and fuel records.

Monitor abnormal/high fuel consumption and investigate variances.

3. Driver Management

Maintain driver attendance, duty roster and leave records.

Ensure drivers follow company SOPs and traffic/safety rules.

Monitor driver behaviour, uniform, licence and required documents.

4. Vehicle Maintenance

Track servicing, repairs, tyre condition, battery and other maintenance.

Maintain vehicle-wise maintenance history.

Ensure timely servicing and minimize vehicle breakdowns.

5. GPS & Vehicle Tracking

Monitor GPS location and vehicle movement.

Check route deviations, unnecessary stoppages and unauthorized vehicle use.





Prepare daily/weekly vehicle movement reports.

6. Documentation & Compliance

Ensure RC, Insurance, PUC, Fitness, Permit and other documents are valid.

Maintain expiry-date tracker and arrange timely renewals.

Maintain logbooks and trip sheets.

7. Cost Control & MIS

Prepare monthly vehicle-wise fuel, maintenance, KM and trip-cost reports.

Analyze cost per KM and identify savings opportunities.

Submit Fleet MIS to the management.

8. Coordination

Coordinate with Dispatch, Warehouse, Production, Outlets, Drivers and Maintenance.

Arrange vehicles for urgent/inter-factory/outlet requirements.

Handle vehicle-related complaints and resolve issues quickly.

Key KPI: Vehicle availability, on-time dispatch, fuel efficiency, maintenance cost, cost/km, document compliance and reduction in breakdowns.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
